Day 56 of 180


Chiral molecules – what are they and how do you teach them?  I went over how they are like your hands or like shoes – but the students didn’t really understand it until I showed them these two molecules.  In case you don’t know – according to Wikipedia – the term chiral is used to describe an object that is not superposable on its mirror image.
